Hallstatt is a village in Austria's mountainous Salzkammergut region. Its 16th-century Alpine houses and Gothic Catholic church sit on Lake Hallstatt's western shore. A funicular connects to Salzwelten, an ancient salt mine with a subterranean salt lake and multimedia presentations on the village's mining history. To the west, a trail leads to the Echern Valley with its glacial potholes and Waldbachstrub Waterfall.

Flinders Island is an island in Bass Strait. It is 54 kilometres from Cape Portland, the north-eastern tip of Tasmania, Australia and is the largest island in the Furneaux Group. It is located on 40° south, a place known as the Roaring Forties.

The Derwent Valley Council is a local government area of Tasmania, Australia. It covers the upper part of the Derwent River, from the major town of New Norfolk to the remote south-west Hydro town of Strathgordon.
