Oktoberfest is the world's largest Volksfest. Held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, it is a 16- to 18-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October.

Neuschwanstein Castle is a nineteenth-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany.

Lindau is a town on Lake Constance (also called Bodensee) in Bavaria, Germany, known for its old town, on an island. In the harbor are a Bavarian Lion statue and the stone Lindau Lighthouse, with lake and mountain views.

The Holsten Gate is a city gate marking off the western boundary of the old center of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Heidelberg is a town on the Neckar River in southwestern Germany. It’s known for venerable Heidelberg University, founded in the 14th century. Gothic Heiliggeistkirche church towers over the cafe-lined Marktplatz, a town square in the Altstadt (Old Town).
