Toowoomba is a city in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, Australia. It is located 125 km west of Queensland's capital city Brisbane by road. The estimated population of Toowoomba & surrounding areas as of 2016 is 165,168.
The Sunshine Coast stretches along the Coral Sea in Australia's Queensland state. Beginning about 100km north of Brisbane, it extends up to Rainbow Beach, named for its distinctive multicoloured sand dunes. The area is known for its beaches, surfing, eco-parks and nature reserves. Its Great Sandy National Park encompasses sculpted sand dunes, mangrove forests and rivers, and shelters rare birds.
