Samos is a Greek island in the eastern Aegean Sea, separated from Turkey by the mile-wide Mycale Strait. It was the birthplace of mathematician Pythagoras and philosopher Epicurus, and is known for producing sweet Muscat wine.

Lake Plastiras also called Tavropos Reservoir is an artificial lake fed by Tavropos river, located in Karditsa regional unit, near the city of Karditsa, Greece.

The Metéora - is a formation of immense monolithic pillars and hills-like huge rounded boulders which dominate the local area.
